We know that an unplanned pregnancy can be scary. You may feel like you are all alone. But you are not alone. We are with you and here for you. And we know you can do this. You are strong and brave. We are here to help you plan for the future. On this journey, we promise to:
Below are some of the ways that we can serve you if you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or considering choosing an adoptive family for your baby. Our services are free and confidential. We are a group of caring, professional women, available 24/7.
One of our counselors will meet you at the location of your choosing for free and confidential options counseling. Although each woman's circumstances are unique, most women facing an unplanned pregnancy have primarily three options. We'll help you explore each of them so you can decide which feels right for you.
You can choose a loving family in Illinois to parent your child. Every adoption is different and you can choose the level of openness that you are comfortable with.
If you feel the timing is right to parent your child, this might be the best option for you and your baby.
Women can choose to end their pregnancy through abortion. Make sure you are informed and confident before moving forward with this procedure.
We are not medical doctors and we do not provide medical procedures. While we can refer you to clinics or medical resources near you, we can't answer specific medical questions related to abortions, including the current development of your baby.
Every adoption looks different. You can make the plan that is best for you and your baby and we'll guide you through every step of the process.
You decide the level of openness. You pick the family. You can change your mind at any point during your pregnancy.
If you are considering adoption, we can provide personalized information and resources about how to move forward.
If you already gave birth, there are still options for you and your baby. Our counselors can visit you in the hospital, at home or wherever you feel most comfortable.
If you are in crisis and have given birth in the past 30 days, you can anonymously hand your baby to staff at any Illinois hospital, fire station, police station or emergency medical services provider through the Illinois Safe Haven Law. Your baby will be placed with a loving adoptive family.
